Sam is passionate about delivering well-researched high quality PE so that the subject develops the whole child alongside their Physical competence and literacy. Sam believes Learn, Create, Perform Sports consultancy offers a unique package to all primary schools stemming from his experience and knowledge within the field of Physical Education.
Sam has a fantastic grounding to understanding pedagogy and understanding theory towards primary school children. This is evidenced by his achievements on his undergraduate degree and his dissertation regarding the impact of the PESP impact across the primary school landscape. Further to this, Sam is also a qualified primary school teacher with a PE specialism and decided to enhance his knowledge specifically in primary PE where he has undertaken an MA in PE and Youth Sport. Throughout his masters he has orientated his work around primary school curriculum, pedagogy and assessment with his project focusing on the perception of using models-based practise to teach Physical Education.
Alongside his brilliant academic background, he has a wealth of experience within education and sport. Before university, Sam coached three football teams of different year groups across a 3-year period. Alongside his coaching he worked as a joint PE Coordinator at a Primary School where he discovered his passion for Physical Education and making a difference to primary school children. At university, Sam continued to build upon his experience through working for various external PE companies where he delivered PE and extra-curricula clubs whilst thriving in his studies.
At the start of 2022, Sam decided to follow through with his passion and created LCP Sports where he hopes to share his wealth of knowledge, passion and drive to creating high-quality Physical Education for all schools he works with. Setting up his consultancy has not been his only success this year. He is currently co-ordinating two PE projects at Leeds Beckett University one of which will reach 22 million children worldwide. Sam is determined to make a difference to the Physical Education landscape and offer schools quality bespoke Physical Education packages they and their children deserve.
‘I am continuously working hard to ensure that I continuously grow within my profession through engaging with relevant academia or participating or leading PE projects. I want to offer schools the best bespoke package tailored to their needs to inspire all their pupils to grow and engage with Physical Education and activity. I want schools that work with me to develop outstanding curriculums that continuously grow and improve yearly and reflect their profiles’.
Abbie who has developed a passion for inspiring young people through education. Abbie’s performing arts journey started at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London, that allowed her to grow as an all-round performer. However, Abbie’s real strength shone in both dance and drama. From this, Abbie gained vast experience and knowledge that was enhanced further through performing and teaching both in the UK and across the world. She has also directed and produced some brilliant theatre shows for schools, performing art schools and creative art camps adding to her already impressive profile.
Her education path started with working in various London schools as a teaching assistant and a learning support assistant. She developed a love and passion for wanting to make a difference to young children to allow their confidence to grow. Most recently, she has taught A-level dance to a cluster of pupils who all went on to be very successful within the course. She is continuing her education journey through studying a PGCE Primary 5-11 degree to become a qualified teacher.
Abbie’s vast experience and past achievements has led her to making a difference to many young people and positively impacting upon them. She has since created a brilliant creative art curriculum for L.C.P Sports that inspires and builds confidence within young people.
